Why does this exist?
Pakistan makes the world's goods — and gets none of the credit.
Pakistan's export clusters have manufactured for the world for over a century. Sialkot alone — our launch city — produces hand-held surgical instruments used in hospitals across Germany, the UK and the US, and the sports goods played with in world tournaments.
But between a Pakistani factory and the buyer who needs it sits a chain of European intermediaries — importers and relabelers who capture the margin, own the brand, and keep both sides anonymous to each other. The manufacturer stays invisible. The buyer pays for a name on a box.
The problem was never Pakistani quality. It was that buyers had no way to verify it for themselves.
VeraSource removes the anonymity instead of the factory. We verify legal identity, export history, certifications and the factory floor itself — then publish the evidence, so an international buyer can do due diligence directly. We start with Sialkot's two flagship industries and expand cluster by cluster.

How do you verify?
Five layers. Evidence, not adjectives.
Each layer states exactly what is checked and against what evidence. A trust level is computed from the record — never assigned by hand, never sold.

The record is append-only: every verification event is written once, attributed, and never edited or deleted. A rejection stays on the file next to the approval that later superseded it.

The rules we can't unwrite.
Every sourcing platform claims to verify. The difference is what happens when verification and revenue collide. These four rules decide it in advance — and this page is the public record of them.
No badge is for sale.
Verification status can't be bought, boosted or bundled with a plan. Payment and verification are separate systems — a manufacturer's fee never touches their trust level.
Rejections stay on the record.
A failed layer isn't erased when it is later passed. The full append-only history — including our own mistakes — remains part of the file.
Reviewers can't be paid by the reviewed.
No one who verifies a manufacturer may be compensated by that manufacturer. Conflict-of-interest rules are structural, not a policy PDF.
Suspensions are public.
If a verified company breaks the rules, we don't quietly delist it. The suspension is visible — buyers who trusted the badge deserve to know when it is withdrawn.
Who am I dealing with?
A founder-operated registry — by design, for now.
VeraSource is new, and this page says so plainly. There is no wall of executive portraits because there is no executive floor — there are two founders, accountable by name, operating every verification under the rules above.
We think that is the honest version of what larger platforms perform with leadership pages: a person you can name is a person you can hold responsible. As the auditor network grows, every reviewer will appear here the same way — named, on the record.

Built the system of record: the verification model, the permissions and the audit trail. The append-only rule isn't a policy here — the database physically refuses to edit or delete a verification event. Every early decision carries his name on it, which is the point.
Yasir Kashif

Built the evidence side: how a factory submits its export records and certificates, and how an auditor reviews them. He runs manufacturer onboarding and the day-to-day verification workload — named on the record beside every decision he reviews.

Can a manufacturer pay VeraSource for a verified badge?
No. Verification status cannot be bought, boosted or bundled with any plan. Payment and verification are separate systems, and a manufacturer's fee never touches their trust level. This is the difference between VeraSource and the paid 'verified supplier' tiers sold by the large sourcing marketplaces, where the badge is a revenue product.
What does a VeraSource verified badge actually mean?
It means specific evidence was checked, and the record of that check is published. Legal identity is confirmed against the company's National Tax Number and gates every listing — no NTN, no listing. Export history is checked against shipping and customs documents. Certifications are validated against certificate numbers, issuing bodies and expiry dates. The factory itself is audited on the ground. The trust level you see is computed from those layers, never assigned by hand.
How do I verify a manufacturer in Pakistan myself?
Confirm the company is legally registered and holds a valid National Tax Number; ask for shipping documents (bills of lading, customs records) proving it has actually exported; check any ISO or CE certificate directly with the issuing body rather than trusting a PDF; and verify the factory physically exists at the address given. VeraSource performs exactly these checks and publishes the evidence, so you can review the record instead of repeating the work.
What happens if a verified manufacturer is caught lying?
The suspension is public. We do not quietly delist a company that broke the rules — buyers who relied on that badge deserve to know it was withdrawn. The verification record is append-only, so the rejection stays on the file permanently, alongside any approval that later superseded it. Nothing is edited away.
Is VeraSource itself a registered company?
Incorporation and tax registration are in progress, and we publish that plainly on this page rather than implying otherwise. VeraSource is operated by two named founders, Shayan Kashif and Yasir Kashif, based in Sialkot, Pakistan. The company's own record is the first entry in the registry — including the parts that are not finished yet — because a platform that refuses to publish unverified credentials cannot make an exception for itself.
