A dental articulator holds upper and lower dental casts in the relationship of the jaws so that dentures and restorations can be built and checked in the laboratory; a semi-adjustable model allows the jaw movements to be set. Jimed Surgical's JI-S-1319 is a lightweight black-coated articulator with two magnetic-style mounting plates and two knurled adjusting screws.
