A scalpel handle is a reusable surgical instrument that holds a detachable scalpel blade for incisions and dissection. Under the conventional numbering system, handles No. 3 and No. 7 take blades 10-15 and handle No. 4 takes blades 20-25 (the Fambro catalogue itself does not list blade compatibility). Article 01-1006-03, printed in the catalogue as Standard, # 3. The photo shows a serrated grip section and the number 3 stamped near the end.
