Struempel ear punch forceps have a cupped jaw that bites a small piece of tissue; they are used for aural biopsy and for removing growths in the ear canal. Jimed Surgical's JI-S-10734 is an 8.5 cm instrument with a ring-handle and a shaft that angles upward to a small cupped jaw (as photographed; one supplier photo shows a longer version).
