This is the drill-only guided surgery set, prepared for osteotomies cut through a surgical template rather than freehand. Each drill carries an integrated stop collar behind the cutting flute: the collar seats against the guide sleeve in the template and physically arrests penetration at the planned depth, so both the axis and the depth of the osteotomy are determined by the guide rather than by hand control. That is the whole premise of guided placement, and it is why these drills cannot be substituted with conventional ones. The tray is laid out as a 5 × 5 matrix, with five diameters — Ø2.2, Ø2.8, Ø3.2, Ø3.65 and Ø4.2 mm — running down each column and five working lengths — L8, L10, L11.5, L13 and L15 — running across, giving 25 drills in total. Every position is labelled with its diameter/length pair, so the correct drill for a planned implant is located directly rather than searched for. Diameter rows are colour-coded through their silicone stoppers: white, red, blue, green and black. The drills carry a gold TiN coating over the flutes, which holds the cutting edge through repeated sterilisation cycles and reduces heat generation during the sequence.
