Osseodensification is a non-subtractive alternative to conventional drilling. Run counter-clockwise, the burs in this kit do not excavate bone — they compact it laterally against the osteotomy wall, producing a denser, autografted layer around the implant. Run clockwise, the same burs cut conventionally. That bidirectional behaviour comes from the multi-fluted tapered geometry, and it is why the technique is favoured in soft posterior maxillary bone and in ridge expansion, where primary stability is otherwise hard to achieve. The kit is laid out as a sequence with a pilot drill on the left, then ten densifying burs stepping through Ø2.0, Ø2.3, Ø2.5, Ø3.0, Ø3.3, Ø3.5, Ø4.0, Ø4.3, Ø4.5, Ø5.0, Ø5.3 and Ø5.5 mm, arranged so short and long versions of each diameter sit in adjacent rows — blue stoppers for one length band, green for the other. The burs carry a gold TiN coating with black depth rings for intraosseous reference, and a depth-marking diagram is printed on the tray beside the sequence. Above the drill field sits the Implant System Drivers row on purple and blue seats, and four parallel pins on red stoppers at the right verify axis and angulation between steps. The tray is a white autoclavable block with a blue-tinted hinged lid, branded with the Artifol Enterprises logo.
