Osseodensification prepares an osteotomy by compacting bone rather than removing it. Run counter-clockwise, the multi-fluted tapered burs in this kit push bone laterally against the osteotomy wall, producing a denser autografted layer and higher primary stability — the reason the technique is favoured in soft posterior maxillary bone and in ridge expansion. Run clockwise, the same burs cut conventionally, so a single instrument covers both modes without a tool change. The tray separates the sequence into two banks that share the same diameter progression. The upper block on blue stoppers carries the long burs, labelled VT8 and VS8; the lower block on green stoppers carries the short burs in the VT15/VS15 series. Diameters step through Ø2.0, Ø2.3, Ø2.5, Ø3.0, Ø3.3, Ø3.5, Ø4.0, Ø4.3, Ø4.5, Ø5.0, Ø5.3 and Ø5.5 mm, each position labelled with both its VT code and its working diameter so the bur is selected by catalogue reference rather than by eye. A pilot drill sits at the head of each bank on a black stopper, and three parallel pins on red stoppers at the right verify axis and angulation between steps. Two scaled drill diagrams printed at the lower right key the laser depth rings to 3, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15 and 20 mm.
