This kit covers the two failure scenarios a clinician faces after an implant is already in place, and the tray is divided accordingly. The left section, marked Screw Remove, handles a fractured abutment screw still lodged in the implant: a remove drill establishes a purchase point in the broken fragment, a remove tap engages it with a left-hand thread, and a remove bar provides the leverage to back it out — all without damaging the internal threads of the fixture, which is what determines whether the implant can be saved. Guide sleeves in Ø2.1 and Ø2.5, colour-coded for hex and sub non-hex connections at 16° and 22°, centre the drill in the screw channel so it cannot skid into the implant wall.The right section, marked Fixture Remove, is for retrieving the implant itself — a failed or malpositioned fixture. Three reverse-thread removers cover internal 16°, sub 22° and 16° mini connections; driven counter-clockwise under high torque, they grip the internal connection and unwind the implant from bone with far less bone loss than trephining around it. A Ø4.0 mm knurled adapter and a cover screw remover complete the set, with a bidirectional ratchet held across the top of the tray and spare positions left open for replacement components.
