Description
The Kim plier combines two operations that normally need two instruments. The beaks form and adjust wire, while a cutting edge built into the joint trims it — so a loop or bend can be shaped and the excess removed without setting the plier down and picking up a cutter. The forming beak is stepped rather than smoothly tapered, giving discrete diameters to bend against instead of a continuous cone, which makes repeat bends easier to reproduce at the same radius. It sits among the loop-forming group on G-17 and is the only entry there with a cutting function.
