The Pin & Ligature Cutter 1711-20 is the 7° angled option in Accuram's three-angle range, sitting between the straight 1711-18 and the more steeply offset 15° 1711-22. That shallow offset is the point: it lifts the handles clear of the bracket and adjacent teeth while keeping the cutting edges almost directly in the operator's line of sight, which suits routine ligature and pin work better than a steeper head. Jaws are precisely tapered so the edges seat close in against the bracket in tight interbracket spaces, and cut soft wires, elastic ligatures and pins up to .016" (.40 mm). The 12 cm body gives controlled, low-fatigue closure through a full bonding or adjustment appointment. Satin non-reflective finish keeps glare out of the field.
