Does it meet spec?
From the manufacturer
Lingual arch wire is substantially heavier than labial archwire, and the double-back and triple-back bends used to terminate it into molar attachments have to be formed as tight, repeatable folds without collapsing or scoring the wire. The beaks carry a stepped channel that seats .030" and .036" wire on its own axis and lets successive bends be laid back on themselves in register. It is the heaviest-capacity forming plier in the G-16 group: 1741-18 and 1742-11 handle rectangular archwire to .021"–.022" × .025", while this one takes wire nearly twice that diameter.
