From the manufacturer

Description

The Accuram 1213-10 is a double-ended ball-shaped filling instrument from the Restorative range, supplied with a 0.8 mm spherical working end at one tip and a 1 mm spherical working end at the other. It is intended for use in restorative dental procedures for placing, adapting and contouring restorative material, with the two ball diameters on a single instrument allowing the clinician to switch between working scales without changing instruments. Both working ends are formed on an angled, tapered shank that steps down from the handle and terminates in a smooth, highly polished spherical tip. The angulation is designed to give access to the working site while keeping the practitioner's hand clear of the field. The shank is drawn to a fine cross-section immediately behind the ball to preserve tactile feedback. The instrument has an overall length of 17 cm and uses a hollow, ring-grooved stainless steel handle with a textured satin body. The alternating knurled bands and matte finish provide a secure, non-slip grip, and the hollow construction keeps the instrument light and well balanced in the hand. Each instrument is laser-marked on the handle with the Accuram Instruments name, the CE mark and the reference number 1213-10, which supports lot traceability. Manufactured in stainless steel to Accuram's standard production process, which the company describes as following German manufacturing techniques, with tolerances held to DIN norms and each lot accompanied by a Q.C. certificate carrying a unique traceability ID. Accuram Instruments operates under ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 certification.
